General Secretary: Committee of Insurance, Securities and Non-banking Financial Authorities (CISNA), Southern African Development Community (SADC)

Brinda has played a pivotal role in establishing the CISNA Secretariat in Mauritius and has been serving as its Secretary General since 2023, following her tenure as Acting Secretary General in 2022. She joined the Financial Services Commission (FSC) in 2012 as a Manager and currently holds the position of Senior Manager. Over the years, she has contributed significantly across various departments, including international relations, investment fund supervision, financial stability, and the Executive Office.

In addition to her regulatory experience, Brinda has served as a Director on both a management company and an investment advisory firm in Mauritius, further strengthening her expertise in the financial services sector. She has also led two ProInvest projects, demonstrating her capacity to manage international development initiatives.

Earlier in her career, from 2008 to 2012, Brinda worked as a Financial Analyst at Aon Hewitt, where she specialized in actuarial valuations of pension funds and provided investment advisory services to the National Pension Fund. She began her professional journey in 2003 at Business Mauritius, where she eventually led the Economics, Research, and Statistics department.

Brinda has also contributed to national policymaking as a member of several committees, including the National Savings Fund Technical Committee. She holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Delhi and an MSc in Financial Services Management from the University of Surrey.
