Sector Lead for Mining and Natural resources at Rand Merchant Bank Botswana.

Moemedi Moyo is a Sector Lead for Mining and Natural resources at Rand Merchant Bank Botswana. Under his custodianship, he is responsible for driving the Bank`s mining, oil, gas and renewable energy sector strategies across the portfolios` of the bank. He holds more than a decade worth of experience in banking with extensive experience in supporting and facilitating banking transactions for clients in varying sectors ranging from Energy, Insurance, Telecommunications, Retail, Health, Construction, Agriculture and Mining. He is also the lead for Sustainable Finance and ESG advisory at RMB Botswana. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in areas of business development, corporate finance and sustainable finance.

Moyo holds an honours degree in Business Enterprise from the University of Derby, postgraduate qualifications in Enterprise Risk Management and Infrastructure Finance, he is a Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst as well as other qualifications. He is currently reading for his LLB from Leeds Beckett University and is studying towards attaining his Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst charter.
